Hey Curlies,

I wanted to show you all my twistout done with some new products, NATURALICIOUS. I’ve been itching to get my hands on these products since I did my interview with Gwen Jimmere, owner and the first Black woman to receive a patent on a natural hair product.

NATURALICIOUS
NATURALICIOUS for kinky/coily hair

The products made by NATURALICIOUS are designed to help cut down wash day by combining several hair products into four. Instead of using separate shampoos, conditioners, stylers, etc. all of those have been simplified for you.

So what was my wash day like?

I was wearing my hair in a very lose bun for the past few days once my stretched twistout got old. On Sunday I washed my hair using NATURALICIOUS’ OooLaLocks system for kinky hair. (I’ll have thoughts on these products in the next post.)

I washed and conditioned my hair with Step 1: the Moroccan Rhassoul 5-in-1 Clay Treatment.

As always I began by working with two halves (pictured above).

That was it!

I washed/conditioned with the clay treatment, did my normal shower business and was out in less than 15 minutes. Quick right?

Because I usually do a bit of detangling while washing, once I got to Step 2: Moisture Infusion Styling Creme, the rest of the detangling process was a breeze!

Next, I proceeded to create about 10 twists using Step 2 and Step 3: Divine Shine Moisture Lock & Frizz Fighter.

Let me tell ya’ll. My hair smelled so good once I finished. Since I let my hair airdry the smell rubbed off on my pillow and I was in heaven all night!

Again, I’ll have more details on the actual products in my next post.

Here were my results:

These pictures honestly do no justice as my twistout is so defined its ridiculous! I’ll have more details this week.

In the meantime, if you’re in the Indianapolis area I personally invite you to International Natural Hair Meetup Day taking place in Indianapolis May 21. Early bird tickets are going fast ladies and I’d love to see all of you there! Purchase your tickets here.
