How long have you been natural or transitioning?
I have been natural for 1 year on November 18, 2011. I cut it all off in April 2009 but used a texturizer of and on until November 18, 2010.
A short regimen you can share?
My regimen is normally co-washes every day and seal with either Coconut Oil or EVOO. When I shampoo I use either the Kinky Kurly or Mizani Cleansing Cream, both are Sulfate Free. I co-wash with various conditioners but recently was introduced to Trader Joe’s Nourishing Spa Conditioner and I love it.
Do you have any favorite products?
My Favorite Product has to be BENTONITE CLAY.. It works every time my hair needs a pick me up.
Do you have any advice on going natural?
In the words of Nike..JUST DO IT…Seriously, be patient, and
love the journey. With anything there will be some bad days that will frustrate you BUT you only know they are bad because you will have many good ones as well. Love you and use that fierce new hair as a Armour from naysayers.
