Hey Curlies,
While flipping through some old photos, I remembered how much I miss my medium-sized and mini twists. The benefits are amazing and not to mention how convenient they are. So, there was no question whether I was wearing twists this week or not.
I began wash day by detangling my wash n go (I hated this process). I divided my hair in half, then applied a little water and tons of TRESemme Naturals conditioner to each side as my prepoo.
I created my normal two buns, like I do for every wash, and put on a plastic cap for about an hour and a half.
I washed and conditioned with products from the Shea Moisture’s Jamaican Black Castor Oil line, then began to twist on damp hair.
To style I used By Made Beautiful’s True Hair Butter, then applied coconut oil directly to my scalp.

All in all, I had about 20ish twists.
To keep my twists from shrinking, I divided them in half and began to thread them using the African Threading method.
In the morning, my twists were stretched and ready to go.
