Hey Curlies,
Everyone has bad hair days and they usually surprise us the next morning while we are trying to leave our homes for the day. I have a few go to styles and tips to help you during these tragic times.
- Pull your hair up into a puff and add a cute headband. Smooth a small bit of gel on to your edges and apply a satin scarf for about 5 minutes while you continue your morning routine.
- Wrap your hair in a decorative scarf. There are many techniques to creating a fancy look in minutes. Here is a great YT video by Naptural85 on ways to tie your scarf.
- Pull your hair up into a bun. They are easy to create. If your hair is not long enough to create a bun, or you simply want a bigger bun, try using marley hair to create it.
- Don’t want to show your hair at all? Put on a beanie. You can buy these cute knitted hats at many retail stores. They also come in various colors and styles. Put one on and call it a day.
- If all else fails, just go with it! Have you noticed that when you think that you are having a bad hair day, that is the day that you receive the most complements on your hair? What may be disastrous to you may be gorgeous to someone else.

For your thinning edges, try extra virgin organic coconut oil or Jamaican black castor oil. As for styles. try simply wearing your hair down so that there will not be lots of tension on your edges. You can also try wearing your hair up with soft headbands that will cover your edges. Overall, try not to pull your hair too tightly.
Type in "Thinning Edges" in the search bar at the top of the site for more help.
