Hey Curlies,
After three weeks of mini twists and one week of a twistout it was definitely time for a wash and detangle. Over the last couple of years of doing mini twists, I’ve learned that I would have no problem locking my hair if I wanted because it does so easily.
Mini twists |
Yes, my hair looked great in a twistout but underneath, it was a tangled mess!
I started off applying Aussie Moist Conditioner generously to my hair, tying it up into a high bun and putting on a plastic cap for about 30 minutes. From there I detangled using a wide toothed comb in sections then headed to the shower to wash.

I washed in four sections and then detangled using a Deman brush to get the extra shed hair(not combing your hair in four weeks leaves LOTS of shed hair behind)
I braided my hair on soaking wet hair and let it set for two days(I wore a beanie). This style was particularly for a wedding I was attending (my line sister got married!)

Crazy thing is, I didn’t sleep with a scarf on last night (it was a long night. I told you I went to a wedding haha).
