Hey Curlies,
I told you guys the other day that I had my first experience with the Kinky Curly line. I purchased this product, along with others, at my local Target.
What it claims to do:
Remove knots and tangles from wavy, curly and kinky hair textures
What it contains:
Organic mango extract, organic slipper elm, organic marshmallow root, organic lemongrass, cetyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, citric acid, phenoxyethanol and natural fragrance.
Uses:
As a detangler and leave-in conditioner
My Review:
This past summer, I went back and forth on whether or not I should purchase this product. I knew that the ingredients were all natural and would really agree with my hair, but I could not get over the price. I was afraid that if I purchased it and didn’t like it, I would be very upset. Boy was I wrong! This product surprised me. I like the fact that it can be used as a leave-in conditioner and detangler. For a leave-in conditioner it has lots of slip, something you would see in a normal rinse-out conditioner. This makes it easy to detangle.
The product also smells like fruit and has a bit of thicker consistency than regular leave-in conditioners. The only two complaints that I have are the price and the amount given for price. If I am paying $12-$16 for a product, I would expect to have more, but the ingredients in the product is what you are paying for.
I will say that with this product and the help of the others, my curls were very defined. Overall I give this product a 4 out of 5 for being a great detangler and excellent ingredients.

I actually have that conditioner also and just haven't gotten around to trying it yet. Thanks for the suggestion!
I love KCKT! I recently tried Queen Helene Royal Curl Moisture Rich Conditioner. My first thought when I used it was that it was similar to KCKT. I liked it. Great slip and smell. This might be a cheaper option to consider.
