Hey Curlies,

Question: Before you buy a hair product, what do you observe? The packaging, ingredients or stamps of approval – like the vegan or cruelty-free symbols?

If you’re like me, I look at all three when shopping for natural hair products, and it makes me feel good if I’m buying a product from a company that cares about the environment, animals and our planet.

Many hair care products are labeled “vegan” and “cruelty-free,” but for some of them, you may need to do a little digging.

Luckily, I’ve done the work for you.

There are tons of other vegan products out there but you just have to go looking for them. Many of these brands I’ve used in the past like Wonder Curl, DermOrganic and Shea BODYWORKS.

I searched up and down the aisle of Target and Whole Foods for this list. Hope it helps.
