Hey Curlies,

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve made an addition to this blog. The new “Healthy Living” tab is now on the menu bar above. I can’t pinpoint one occurrence that inspired me to add a healthy living section on to this blog, but experiencing my own natural hair journey has a lot to do with it.

So, what is this new section?

Since going natural I’ve not only tried my best to eliminate chemicals from my haircare routine, but in my everyday life as well. I’ve traded out my toothpaste, deodorant and other items for natural brands.

  • I felt it was appropriate to create  a separate space than my natural hair blog, for those who may be interested in one, but not so much the other.
    DIY all-natural beauty projects (how to make your own body wash, bath bombs, shampoo, etc.)
  • Tips on clean eating
  • Clean eating recipes
  • Self care lessons
  • and more!
I’ve always said this site was not just about styling the perfect twistout or growing your hair. It’s really about your overall health and how you embrace your natural self.
Long story short:
Be sure to visit my new Healthy Living section often. I’ll be updating it once a week.
