How long have you been natural?
2.5 years on May 12.
Why did you go natural?
I wanted to redefine myself after losing me in a horrible relationship. I’m a role model to young girls and mentor to up and coming professionals and I wanted them to know its okay to be who you were born to be. As a Mental Health Professional and Adjunct Professor, I knew it was time to show the world that I can be who I was born to be and maintain my professionalism.
When did you Big chop?
November 12, 2009.
A short regimen you can share?
I deep condition every two weeks and ACV rinse every 4-6 weeks. Wash every Sunday if my hair is not in a protective style.
