Hey Curlies!

The other day, I set my shampoo and conditioner on the bathroom counter and one of my good friends made note of the products I use.

Friend: (walks over the the counter and picks up the bottle of conditioner) This is what you use?
Me: Yeah
Friend: That’s white people stuff girl…
Me: Says who? I think it’s a marketing strategy

*I use Aussie Moist and TRESemme Naturals conditioner by the way*

I honestly believe that the tiny “ethnic” hair products section is simply a marketing strategy for companies. Most of the time the products are more expensive than others. Although most cultures do have different hair types, if one were to use a product that’s not created for your hair type, I’m pretty sure that your hair will not fall out.

Therefore, I do not believe in “white people” hair products. I’ve used the Aussie, Tresemme and Herbal Essence line and they treat my hair better than any “ethnic” hair products that I’ve used. Don’t get me wrong, I do still use and like some of them, such as Organic Root Simulator and some others.

Use what works best for you, no matter what that product may be.
