Have ya heard the news? Hair relaxer sales are declining. I honestly think this has a lot to do with more women embracing their natural hair texture. The photo above represents hair relaxer sales based on the brand name. As you can see, there is a dramatic decrease after the top three.

Here is another article written by The New York Times discussing black hair. It seems as if most people look at hair as more than just “hair.” It has become a huge deal.

My CUTE pair of leggings from H&M were temporarily ruined when a friend asked me to mix up her relaxer. While mixing, I sort of made a mess (obviously lol) and this is what I got! Never again!

I think it is really good that the relaxer sales are declining. I did research on relaxers and I found out how horrible it is for hair and have been perm free for almost a year. All it does is dry out the hair and seeps into the skin. Its great to go natural and I'm glad to connect with others who are doing the same. thanks for all of your blog post.
