Sometimes I get so caught up in the newest products and styles that I forget about the basics – like how to flat twist.
I posted a video on Instagram of me creating a jumbo flat twist and all of a sudden – everyone wanted a tutorial.
With that request, here it is…exactly how I achieve my jumbo flat twist:
This style was done on stretched hair. This is very important to achieve the “jumbo” part.
Side note: I apologize if I sound extra dry in this video (lol). I recorded this voiceover around 6 a.m. and didn’t realize how dead I sounded at the time.
