Hey Curlies,
Today I am going to give my first impression of the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil line. I’ve used the products twice within the last two weeks and I wanted to share my opinion.
I do not have the entire line, I am missing the leave in conditioner and the hair lotion, but I will go through the products I have individually.

Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Shampoo:
I actually like this shampoo. For one, the entire line smells like a mix of Shea butter and vanilla. I’m not sure what raw Jamaican Black Castor Oil smells like but maybe that’s the scent I’m smelling. This product lathers up really well and even after two weeks of use (two wash days total), I haven’t even put a dent in the bottle. Because it is a clarifying shampoo, it cleansed my scalp really well. This also may be because of the apple cider vinegar the product is made with.

Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Hair Serum:
I’ve used this oil in two different ways: as a pre-poo and while styling my hair. This product seems to have a good amount of quality oils and seems to be very lightweight.
